Question One

Dr. Ted Klontz

Ted Reads Question One

Over the next three missives, I will be sharing the answers to some perturbing questions that have been forming for a while.

This one has been nagging me since 2015. For the first quarter of my life, I was a card-carrying hyper-active member of one of the most hard-core, fundamental Christian sects in existence. I was a deep, deep participant.

The details of what that means exactly would be another long story, but the part that I will talk about was that I had a fairly good idea of who I was to minister to and how I was to do it. By being a Christ-like example. Helping the less fortunate, the poor, the hurting. Kindness, humility, self-sacrifice, morality, and decency. Good Samaritan and all that.

So naïve me was pretty shocked and puzzled as I witnessed hard core fundamental Christianity fall all over itself, rushing to support unrepentant, characters such as our current leader and his crew.  To the point where they unabashedly follow him. AND encourage everyone else to do the same.  Even though in doing so VICTIMIZE (to the point of killing them) the very people I was told to honor and serve.

I can understand how organized crime might be excited.  Or Amazon, or Facebook, or other icons of the business world. So that each can share the spoils of the looting. But Fundamental Christianity?

I found my answer. This information comes from the very organization itself.

A very under the radar, discreet, nearly invisible sect of Christianity that has as its ultimate goal, Christianity becoming THE world religion (though this is not well known, even among those that it targets and services). This organization is not new. It became visible for the first time when President Eisenhower attended his first breakfast.

It is, for government purposes, a church based in Washington DC and has multiple (outwardly) informal leaderless groups in every state and in many countries of the world. Its largest outward facing event is the Annual Prayer Breakfast held in Washington DC, but it goes to great lengths to be invisible, even to those they have recruited.

While the traditional way for religions is to care for the most needy, their strategy is based on the principle that they can get to their ultimate goal by going after the most powerful.  The kings, queens, presidents, senators, members of congress, judges, etc. That’s their strategy.

They have developed an amazing scouting and recruitment system that would put any professional sports talent scouting system to shame. This system allows them to scout out up-and-coming leadership and political talent.

It isn’t an issue, whether or not those that they go after represent or ever will represent ‘traditional’ Christian values in their personal or professional lives. They are not going for the person, but for the power, control, influence, and access. If you have it, they will be calling. A “Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing” is actually attractive to them. Their philosophy is “If you can get him or her, the rest of the flock will meekly follow”.

They discreetly identify, court, groom, and then nurture these people. Just how effective they have been and currently are (current POTUS for example) is freaky.

To the average ‘recruit,’ the people from this group that they interact with are simply nice, supportive helpful people, god-fearing who they sometimes talk things over with and are always there for them. Their proximity power to invisibly shape people and legislation is legendary.

So, that’s what I have learned about “How could good Cristians possibly……?”  Now, whether it should be happening is another question.  If you are familiar with how foreign spy networks are created and run, the technique is textbook.

Interested in learning more? Start with the TV show Netflix, “The Family.”  You’ll run into various sources that you can use to fill out the pictures. There are a couple of books available also. For me, watching (and reading the books) was sort of like stumbling on a secret “HOW TO SELL A CAR TO ANYONE” training manual written by the world’s best car salesperson. Ingenious, impressive.  Or the day I learned that I didn’t REALLY elect a president, I elected someone who I hoped would honor my wish.

The separation of church and state is apparently another illusion it would be best for me to let go of.

Your ongoing pursuit of understanding is very encouraging… i’m learning about the things that were indoctrinated/modeled/taught to me from infancy as a way of socializing/managing/manipulating- generally with the best of intention. I can see now that I have done the same. Questioning these constructs was not part of the curriculum. I wonder why some people are able to see and acknowledge the disconnect between their actions and what they think/say they believe, and some can/will not???

“ I wonder why?” Is becoming my favorite question!

I’m glad you have it all figured out Ted. King David was a sinner and God used him nightly. Jesus himself hung out with the sinners.

Wow, thank you Ted, such a wonderfully developed article! I love it when you do this: your consciousness fueled by your intelligence and growth and inner awareness shine forth in this article ( IMHO). and IMHO, as one of my Unity parishioners once said to me: "Most Christians are so un-Christion". I would love to hear what Jesus Christ would say to this false sect.
